How long have you been photographing weddings?

I've been a professional photographer since 2013, and have been photographing weddings since 2014.

How would you describe your photographic style?

Documentary and editorial. My background is in photojournalism and commercial photography, and my images reflect this. I love capturing moments organically and candidly as they happen. And, of course, when I see something more creative and composed, I will ask you to adventure with me and set up the shot!

 

What do you like to do outside of weddings?

I love to travel and climb mountains in my spare time! I also like to take fun, humorous photos with my friends. If you would like to go on an adventure for your wedding, I am equipped and ready to go!

 

Can we meet you before our wedding day?

Absolutely! I love getting to know my clients, so every wedding package comes with a consultation session. I think it helps both you and I to grab coffee and talk about weddings and photography! Engagement sessions are another way you and I can have some fun taking photographs and continue getting to know each other.

 

What if something happens to you?

I come prepared, through and through.

From your wedding day to delivery, I always have at least two copies of every image. Your images are safe with me.

I have backup gear and insurance in case of emergencies. If you or any of your vendors require documentation, I would be happy to provide you with any necessary forms.

Finally, in the unlikely event I am unable to cover your special day, I am able to call upon a network of photographers I have worked with and whose work I admire.

How much is your wedding package?

Weddings start at $3000. Find out more, or submit a booking request.

 

Do you offer packages smaller than a full day?

I believe your wedding day is incredibly special and should be covered throughout the day. However, if you wish to have coverage for less than a day, reach out and I'll be able to accommodate.

 

Do you travel? Is there a fee?

I'm based in Seattle, but I'm available worldwide! Most Seattle venues are within the free travel area. For destination locations, travel fees could include a surcharge for any transportation (driving, ferry, flight) and lodging.

 

How many photos do you deliver?

For most weddings, I deliver at least 400.

 

When do we receive our photos? Do we have rights to the photos?

Your online gallery and photos are yours to print, post, and share, and will be ready to download within a month of your wedding!

 

What is a second shooter? Do you have a second shooter?

A second shooter is another photographer that works alongside me during your wedding day. They provide different angles and more coverage which helps vary the images you receive.

I often shoot alone, but you have the option to add a second shooter if you wish!

 

How can we print our photos? What are these 13” x 19” prints?

Your online gallery will provide you with easy, high-quality, standard print options via Bay Photo Lab. However, if you would like custom large format printing or framing, send me an email!

I handle the printing and framing process myself and use fine-art quality materials. If you would like to see a few samples, I can bring a few along when we meet!

 

How do we book?

I require a signed contract and a 50% retainer fee to reserve your date. The remaining balance + sales tax and travel is due prior to your wedding day.
